Web advertising surpasses TV in the UK

A recent Mashable article has highlighted stats from Reuters, that advertising spend has increased 4.6% to a new high total of 23.5%, and TV has dropped a massive 17% to a total of 21.9%.

This means that for the first time in history web advertising in the UK has become the leading marketplace for your advertising pounds.

According to the biannual report from the Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB), ad spend on the Internet grew to 1.75 billion pounds
