That’s why a few years ago (way back in 2009 in fact) we started producing our annual UK email marketing benchmark reports. These reports are based on email campaigns sent by UK small to medium-sized businesses through the Sign-Up.to email marketing platform.

This year’s report is based on over 1.1 billion emails and shows trends for open, click and unsubscription rates across 23 different sectors. This year we’ve seen that the average open rate is over 22%, up from 18% the previous year.
