Creating effective subscription forms is crucial for maximising your list growth. But what does the ideal form look like?
When creating your form there are a few key things to remember:
- Have a clear benefit. You’re asking for people to give you their most valuable asset – time. So make sure you give them a compelling reason.
- Ask for as little data as you can. The simpler you make the form, the more likely people are to complete it. Once subscribers get to know you, you can ask for more data. Work out what you really, really need to know, and only ask for that.
- Reassure people you’ll respect their privacy. Tell them how you’ll respect their data.
- Include a clear call to action. Make the next step really obvious. Do all you can to reduce the need to think when completing the form.
