If you’re using email to drive business to business sales then actions that your readers perform in your emails can provide your sales team with valuable information on who to reach out to and how to focus their conversation.
If you have multiple products or are launching a new service, include specific links to more information within your email campaign. The people who click on the links are likely to be your hottest prospects – the one’s for your sales team to prioritise following up with.
You can either extract this information from your email analytics report a fixed time after your campaign, or more usefully you can automate passing the leads to your sales team in a couple of ways:
- Use Sign-Up.to’s Marketing Automation rules to trigger a notification email to your sales team when one of the key links in your email is clicked. This will send an email alert containing the contact details to the address you specify.
- Use one of our CRM integrations (like our built in Salesforce integration, or one of the many connections made possible by Zapier) to send this information automatically to your CRM system as events happen.
