Another week has flown by here at Sign-Up.to. Here’s our regular Friday wind-down of digital (ish) stories that have caught our eye this week.
It’s all for charity
Third Sector, The Guardian and others report the good news that the Charity Commission has launched a new guide to help charity trustees to use digital technology in their fundraising activities. As well as answering questions on digital adoption and looking at how digital can being used to enhance the charity’s brand, the guide also aims to address how they can manage online risk and security.
Every little helps
The Digital Marketing Magazine report that Tesco’s Chief Executive has hailed personalised marketing as the driver for its third consecutive quarter of positive growth. Tesco’s traditional TV advertising has been increasingly augmented with a more personalised social media marketing approach allowing a much more refined level of customer engagement.
Finally, next week we’ll be at the 2016 IAB Engage Conference. We’ve worked with the IAB for several years providing the technology behind their email communications. As a flagship event in the online calendar the 12th IAB Engage Conference looks as strong as ever. We’re looking forward to mixing with IAB members, guests and even keynote speaker Gary Lineker.
