Digital Marketing Show – roundup

2 minute read

Thank you to everyone who came to see us at the Digital Marketing Show at the ExCeL centre in London over the last two days – it was great to meet you.

If you were there on Wednesday and came to my presentation on ‘Email Marketing – Let’s get personal’ then I hope you found it interesting – as someone tweeted ‘Personalisation is so much more than just addressing your email using ‘Dear Firstname’. With some fairly basic data management, marketing automation and intelligent use of your data ‘insights’ you can create highly targeted and individually relevant marketing campaigns that are impossible to ignore.

If you’d like a copy of the presentation slides, drop me a reply ( and I’ll be pleased to forward them to you.

Another thank you to all those who stopped by for a chat at our stand and to take our ‘Strike a Light’ challenge – especially the giant mole (check out our Facebook page to see the video). I know you want to know how you compared so here is a summary of all of the results.

After day 1 things were looking good for Michael with a high score of 142, but then Carmen came along and posted a completely awesome new record of 153 – it proved unbeatable. We even tried a tag team of 4 players to try to beat it but only scored 147. So congratulations to Carmen – you are our high score winner. We’ll be in touch. And for everyone else- the second prize draw will be made later today – good luck!
