This week we’ll be joining 120 other speakers to present at the Integrated Live event (London, ExCeL, 16-17th November).
We’ve been talking a lot lately on some of the more ‘advanced’ email marketing techniques, like automation, audience profiling and precision targeting, but for Integrated Live I’ll be going back to basics – speaking on the importance of using responsive design to address the needs of a mobile email audience.
With all of the great mobile responsive technology available these days it’s easy to think that mobile responsive emails is a ‘job done’, but the evidence suggests otherwise. In a recent survey of a typical day in my inbox, just 26% of the emails I received were nicely mobile responsive. Put another way, that’s 74% of people who are emailing me who are missing an important but easy to fix trick.
So, at Integrated Live I’ll be talking again about responsive design – ‘Email for Mobile. The mechanics and Mindset’ – the mechanics, that is how it works, and the mindset, that is how as email marketers we should be thinking. The presentation is at 3:00pm on Wednesday 16th November – you’ll find me in the Social, Video and Mobile theatre. If you’re at Integrated Live – come along. We’ll be exhibiting too (stand B42) and we’ll love for you to stop by for a chat. See you there.
If you can’t make – no worries, it’s based on this blog post.
