Two dates for your diaries in May…

The first, Thursday 24 May, is our next email Marketing Discovery Morning. It’s a guided tour through 10 best practice topics in email marketing. (Of course) GDPR is one of them but we’ll also look at other aspects including email design, optimising delivery, analysing performance, marketing automation, subscriber profiling and campaign personalisation – all important steps in creating the perfect email marketing strategy.

We currently have places available but we’re usually busy, so please register early to reserve your place – details are at the link below. Discovery Mornings are held in central London (close to Piccadilly underground station) and go from 10am to 1pm. Did I mention they’re free to attend?

The second, Friday 25 May, is GDPR day – the day that the new regulations on data protection become effective law in EU member states. We’re getting lots of calls about the potential impact of GDPR, especially in terms of collecting and processing data for email marketing. There’s lots of information available but ultimately the definitive guidelines on preparing for GDPR (at least in the UK) come from the ICO (Information Commissioners Office). I’ve include a link to their guidelines below.
