Copying your email text from Word

If you design your emails in Microsoft Word then you’ve no doubt experienced at some time the delights of the extra tags and symbols that it can insert into your emails – this is because Word includes many non-standard tags and characters in your text.

Here’s a quick and simple way to end the pain and make sure you can copy your text across from Word to the Easy Editor in our template tool easily, while keeping the formatting.

  1. Save your Word document as the file type ‘Web Page, filtered’
  2. Open the HTML file it saves in Internet Explorer
  3. Select and copy your text
  4. Paste it into Sign-Up.to’s Easy Editor
  5. That’s it!
