White-label partnership providing email technology and commercial support


chrisWhen digital marketing agency BeSeen Marketing needed a ready-to-go email platform to add to their growing solution portfolio they chose to work with as a white-label Partner. Fast forward to the present day and ‘BeSeen Mail’, their fully white-labelled email solution, is now a central part of the BeSeen service offering.

BeSeen Marketing was formed in 2011 by the joining of three individual marketing service providers covering the separate but related areas of digital, technology and print/media. Managing Director Chris Bantock explains how combining the skills and resources of the three component companies made complete business sense.

“Bringing the digital, technology and media aspects together meant that as a full digital services agency we were able to offer a much wider range of online and offline marketing solutions. Our combined business is now organised in four key solution areas: strategic, technical, digital and creative. If we now have a specialism it is in combining all of these areas to create a growth strategy and tactical marketing implementation for our customers.”

The BeSeen Marketing solution

Alongside their email marketing solution, BeSeen Marketing offers website development including SEO and PPC, technology infrastructure, and a range of design and content services. They primarily serve UK customers in both B2B and B2C environments in sectors including IT, manufacturing, education and recruitment, mostly mid-size organisations but with high level growth ambitions.

Already familiar with from his previous business, Chris was more than happy to incorporate as the white-label solution for their new email offering, BeSeen Mail.

“A full white-labelling of the platform was a must-have partnership option for BeSeen. Our business is based on a close consultative relationship with our customers so, in addition to having all of the necessary behind the scenes technology that provides, it was important that we were able to use our own brand to further enhance our reputation and customer relationships.”

BeSeen’s customer engagement is highly service orientated, a trend which continues through their email solution. A typical BeSeen Mail engagement involves a comprehensive set up service, including data import, template design, and initial campaign creation. From there some customers continue using BeSeen Mail on a self-service basis, but the majority progress to a fully managed solution including design, content creation, delivery management and performance analytics.

BeSeen also offer first-line customer support, training and documentation, all managed from their own branded control panel and delivered using white-labelled materials from the library of Partner resources.

“White-labelling the platform is a perfect match for our needs. It fits seamlessly into our overall solution portfolio, both from technology and commercial viewpoints. The technology itself is state-of-the art – we particularly value the responsive design templates and, as web developers ourselves, find the integration features and open API extremely useful. There’s plenty more that we haven’t fully utilised yet. Marketing Automation and the new audience profiling tools are certainly features that we will be investigating and which will potentially add premium level revenue opportunities to our solution.”
